IDEAS
INDOOR PLANTS don't appreciate chlorine or cold water. Let their water sit out for a day to room temperature. The chlorine will evaporate and your plants will be grateful. This water trick is perfect for your goldfish bowl.
BLEACH spots and stains away with an eyedropper. I use 50/50 bleach/water and apply a drop at a time till the stain fades away. Immediately rinse and wash.
SUPPORT your neighborhood artist and save a space in the dump. Before hauling your broken, mismatched, and aged items away, place the stuff in a free box by the road.
MINI ICE PACKS can be made by wetting Q-tips and storing in the freezer. They melt fast, so keep several at hand. I used them to help keep the swelling down on the inside of my newly pierced nose.
ARTIST'S Will love this idea. I am always in supply of business magnets. Why not get your talent out there and copy or design your own art and apply it to the magnets. This is truly a frugal and insane project, but how cool!
USE OLD YARDSTICKS as shelf edges, to make a tiny log cabin, diving boards for miniature pools, apply to desk edge for easy reference, hang on a door for child measurement, group several together and put in a large vase or container, glue to picture frames...
ROCK PONDS are a high end idea which costs nothing to people with limited resources. Gather a few basketball size rocks, more on the flat side. Hollow out a bowl size hole in the top center. If you don;t have the equipment or know someone to drill it out, then tough luck. But if you have drilled the hole, then you have succeded to the final product. Clean your hole out and add the rocks into your landscaping. Fill with water. Go to pet store and buy a goldfish for each rock. See where this is going? Apply fish to their new home. I guess you should feed them and bring them inside in the winter. Goldfish can live up to 20 years.
Instant remedy for coldness
This works whether your in a car, camping, or at a ball game.
It is so simple. Cover Your Ears!!! Awww...feel the warmth returning.
